You requested a demo and we emailed your access token. This page walks you through every step — connect the agent to our live demo Odoo and start asking questions in plain language.

Get your demo token

When you request a demo, we email you a demo access token and MCP URL. Everything below uses those. Didn't get it? Request one here or check your spam folder.

Note: the demo covers the Odoo connection — you'll add your own AI provider key (OpenAI/Anthropic/OpenRouter) in the agent. The token allows a set number of Odoo actions and expires after a few days.

Download the agent

erpAIbridge ships as a free desktop app for macOS and Windows. Prefer Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor? erpAIbridge works with any MCP-compatible AI — skip to step 4 and add the config there instead.

Install & add your AI key

  1. Run the installer and open erpAIbridge. First launch does a one-time setup (a few minutes) — nothing to configure.
  2. On Windows you may see a “Windows protected your PC” notice — click More info → Run anyway (the app just isn't code-signed yet).
  3. Open Settings → Providers → API keys and add your own AI provider key (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter…). This is what powers the chat; the demo covers Odoo, not AI credits.

Connect erpAIbridge (MCP)

Open Capabilities → MCP → Add server and paste the JSON from your email (replace the URL and token with the ones we sent you):

Or enter the URL and Bearer token as separate fields. Save — the Odoo tools load automatically.

Other AI clients: add the same JSON to Claude Desktop's or Cursor's MCP config — the URL + token are identical.

Troubleshooting

Common questions

The agent says it can't reach Odoo+

Double-check the MCP URL and token match your email exactly (no extra spaces). The token is case-sensitive. If it still fails, your trial may have expired or hit its action limit — just request a fresh one.

“Trial limit reached”+

Demo tokens allow a set number of Odoo actions so everyone gets a fair try. Reply to your demo email or contact us and we'll extend it or set up a full trial.

Do I need to install anything in Odoo?+

No. For the demo you're connecting to our Odoo. For your own Odoo later, erpAIbridge connects through Odoo's standard API — nothing to install inside Odoo.

Is the demo data real / is it safe?+

The demo Odoo holds sample data only. Every change is drafted and waits for your approval; the agent never deletes and can only do what the demo permissions allow.

Can I use Claude or ChatGPT instead of the desktop agent?+

Yes — erpAIbridge is an MCP server, so any MCP-compatible client works. Add the same URL + token to your client's MCP config.
